Drinking Water Workshop June 18 in Lebanon

A Safe Drinking Water Workshop sponsored by the Lebanon County Conservation District with support from Penn State Extension will be held 2-4 p.m. and again 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, at the Lebanon Valley Agricultural Center.

Participants will be able to have their drinking water tested and get some results the evening of the workshop.

Amy Galford and Bryan Swistock from Penn State Extension will coordinate the water testing and help registrants interpret results.

Proper construction of wells and protection of springs will also be covered. Information on groundwater and solving private water supply problems will be included.

Cost is $10. Deadline for payment and registration is Friday, June 13 and can be made at https://lccd.org/payments.php.
