Grain Marketing Seminar Set for Dec. 11

LEESPORT, Pa. — Berks County Extension will hold a workshop on grain marketing 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, at the Berks County Ag Center, 1238 County Welfare Road, Suite 110, Leesport.

Moe Russell of Russell Consulting Group will present “Managing Risk in a Volatile Environment,” and talk about how producers can develop a plan for maximizing their profitability.

Daryl Ray of the Agricultural Policy Analysis Center at the University of Tennessee will present “What Does the Current Farm Bill Mean to You?” and Brian Hefty of Hefty Brothers will present “How to Double Your Grain Production.”
