Snyder Conservation to Hold Annual Banquet

The Snyder County Conservation District will hold it annual banquet 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 15, at the Christ Community United Methodist Church, 3939 Park Road near Selinsgrove.

This year’s guest speaker will be Stephen Runkle, a retired DEP hydraulic engineer who will present an in-depth study of Native Americans and their life in the Susquehanna River Basin Region during the 17th and 18th centuries.

Tickets can be purchased by March 8 from directors, associate directors and the district office. Adults are $12.50, children ages 5 to 10 are $7.50, and children under 5 are free.
