NEW YORK (AP) — Cotton futures No. 2 closed 55 cents a bale lower to 90 cents higher Friday.

The average price for strict low middling 1 & 1-16 inch spot cotton declined 15 cents to 59.94 cents per pound Friday for the seven markets, according to the Market News Branch, Memphis USDA.
