Feeder Cattle Auction Report Mid-Session and Close for 05/20/2015
Receipts: 716 Last Week: 1847 Year Ago: 636
Compared to last week, a light test of feeder steers weighing 400-600 lbs
sold fully steady to firm, with 450-500 lbs spots 3.00-5.00 higher, and 500-550
lbs mostly 3.00 higher, 600-650 lbs sold firm to 5.00 higher. Steers over 650
and heifers over 600 lbs were not well tested. Feeder heifers weighing 400-600
lbs sold mostly steady, with several packages of light weight heifers weighing
400-425 lbs thin long-time weaned selling with very good demand. Wednesday's
offering was mostly calves weighing 350-600 lbs selling with good demand.
Supply included 58 percent steers and bulls, 42 percent heifers, and near 28
percent over 600 lbs.

315.00; 400-500 lbs 299.00-314.00; 500-550 lbs 291.00-299.50, pkg fleshy 276.50;
