| In the direct slaughter cattle trade in the Five Major Marketing Areas, |
| Texas/Oklahoma; Kansas; Nebraska; Colorado; Iowa/Minnesota; Thus far for |
| Tuesday, negotiated cash trade was at a standstill in the Southern and Northern |
| Plains with very limited trade on light demand in the Western Cornbelt. Not |
| enough sales in any feeding region for an adequate market test. The latest |
| established market was last week with live sales at 122.00 in the Southern |
| Plains. In Nebraska last week, live sales traded from 123.00-124.00 with dressed |
| sales mostly at 197.00. Last week in Colorado, live sales traded from 122.50- |
| 123.00. In the Western Cornbelt for the previous week, live sales traded from |
| 123.00-125.00 with dressed sales from 196.00-197.00. |
