Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers steady to 1.00 lower.
Steer and heifer calves lightly tested but a higher undertone noted,
especially on the lighter weights. Demand moderate to good and improved
some from last week. Hot and dry weather has swept across the state with
temperatures expected to be near or over 100 for most of the week. Quality
plain to average. Weigh-ups average to full. Supply included 75 percent over
600 lbs; 30 percent heifers.
