South Carolina closing cash grain bids as of 3:00 P.M. Prices delivered
to country elevators or processors. New crop bids noted with (*).
US 2 Yellow Corn was 2 to 4 cents lower.
US 1 Yellow Soybeans were mostly 5 cents lower; one location 15 higher.
US 2 Red Wheat was mostly 1 to 7 cents lower.
New Crop US 2 Yellow Corn was mostly 3 to 5 cents lower; one location 11
higher.
New Crop US 1 Yellow Soybeans were mostly 4 to 5 cents lower; one
location 1 higher.
CORN: Country Elevators---3.49 at Kingstree; 3.90 and *3.90 at
Hamer; 3.49 at Lynchburg; 3.74 at Conway; 3.49 at Estill; Processors---
3.89 at Orangeburg; 4.15 and *4.15 at Monetta; 4.04 and *4.14 at Sumter;
4.14 and *3.99 at Cassatt.
SOYBEANS: Country Elevators---10.49 and *9.24 at Anderson; *9.59 at
Kingstree; 12.04 and *10.00 at Hamer; *9.59 at Lynchburg; *9.84 at
Conway; 10.04 and *10.04 at Estill; *9.50 at Ridge Spring; Processors---
12.39 and *10.24 at Kershaw; Export---10.70 and *10.70 at Mt. Pleasant.
