South Carolina closing cash grain bids as of 3:00 P.M. Prices delivered
to country elevators or processors. New crop bids noted with (*).
US 2 Yellow Corn was mixed 4 cents lower to 10 cents higher,one location 17 cents lower.
US 1 Yellow Soybeans were steady 2 cents lower.
US 2 Red Wheat was 4 to 11 cents higher.
New Crop US 2 Yellow Corn was 10 to 12 cents higher.
New Crop US 1 Yellow Soybeans were 4 to 5 cents higher.
CORN: Country Elevators---*5.69 at Kingstree; *5.69 at Lynchburg; 7.03 and *5.89
at Estill; Processors---6.93 at Orangeburg 2; 8.13 and *6.40 at Monetta; 7.60 and
*6.34 at Sumter; 7.23 and *5.90 at Cassett.
SOYBEANS: Country Elevators---*12.30 at Kingstree; *12.30 at Lynchburg; 14.21 at
Orangeburg 2; 15.11 and *12.60 at Estill; Processors---15.45 and *12.81 at
Kershaw; Export---12.70 at Mt. Pleasant.
WHEAT: Country Elevators---5.85 at Anderson; 5.83 at Kingstree; 5.83 at Lynchburg;
6.08 at Estill; Processors---6.13 at Orangeburg 2; 5.89 at Sumter; 7.75 at
Columbia.
