South Carolina closing cash grain bids as of 3:00 P.M. Prices delivered
to country elevators or processors. New crop bids noted with (*).
US 2 Yellow Corn was mostly 4 cents lower; one location 11 cents higher.
US 1 Yellow Soybeans were 14 to 15 lower.
US 2 Red Wheat had too few bids to trend.
New Crop US 2 Red Wheat had too few bids to trend.
CORN: Country Elevators---3.38 at Kingstree; 3.78 at Hamer; 3.38 at
Lynchburg; 3.68 at Conway; 3.28 at Estill; Processors---3.88 at
Orangeburg; 4.23 at Monetta; 4.13 at Sumter; 4.03 at Cassatt.
SOYBEANS: Country Elevators---8.74 at Anderson; 8.87 at Kingstree; 9.27
at Hamer; 8.87 at Lynchburg; 9.12 at Conway; 9.22 at Estill; 8.78 at
Ridge Spring; Processors---9.52 at Kershaw; Export---9.86 at Mt.
Pleasant.
WHEAT: Country Elevators---4.31 at Anderson; *4.92 at Hamer; No Bid at
Estill; 3.77 at Ridge Spring; Processors---No Bid at Monetta; No Bid at
Sumter; Export---*5.00 at Mt. Pleasant; US 1 Soft Red Wheat 5.50 at
