E-A-G-L-E-S - EAGLES!

In a unique twist, butter and football came together today. The 2011 sculpture pays tribute to the “Fuel Up to Play 60” program, a partnership between the dairy checkoff program and the National Football League. The sculpture depicts the program theme –children need to play 60 minutes a day and eat a healthy diet that includes low-fat milk and dairy products.

To accentuate the partnership, members of the Eagles pep band; Mike Quick – color commentator for the Eagles; and the Philadelphia Eagles mascot Swoop, joined the dairy promotion staff for the unveiling.

Through the years, we have seen the sculpture take a wide variety of forms, shapes and sizes. This year’s tribute does not disappoint. Stop by and see the sculpture in its new location, the Main Hall of the Farm Show Complex complete with a new case.
