Grain futures mostly fall, livestock prices rise

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures mostly fell Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery fell 5.75 cents to $6.9175 a bushel; May corn added 1 cent to $6.395 a bushel; May oats fell 6.75 cents to $3.9025 a bushel; while May soybeans fell 15.75 cents to $14.04 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle rose 1.25 cent to $1.2207 a pound; May feeder cattle rose 1.50 cent to $1.411 a pound; June lean hogs added 1.43 cent to 91 cents a pound.
