May is finally here, which means planting season is well under way. This means late nights spent in the fields. Here is a quick slow cooker recipe that is delicious and great for those late work nights. Also, it is a great way to get your 3-Every-Day of dairy.

Slow Cooker Creamed Corn


1 1/4 (16-ounce) packages frozen corn kernels

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup milk

1 tablespoon white sugar

salt and pepper to taste



In a slow cooker, combine corn, cream cheese, butter, milk and sugar. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Cook on high for 2 to 4 hours or on low for 4 to 6 hours.

Makes 10 to 12 servings
