When compared to last Thursday`s sale, slaughter steers sold steady on
good demand. Slaughter heifers sold 1.00-2.00 lower on a very light test.
Holsteins sold steady to 1.00 lower. Buyer activity was good for Thursday`s
sale. Slaughter cows sold steady with moderate demand. Cattle supplies
included 266 slaughter steers; 54 heifers; 477 cows; 45 bulls; and 9 feeder
cattle. All prices per cwt.

Return to Farm Holstein Calves: When compared to last week`s sale,
Holstein bull calves sold mostly 5.00-10.00 lower on moderate demand.
Heifers sold 15.00-20.00 lower compared to a light test last week.
Demand was good. Ag Market News LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded
460 head for this Thursday's graded sale. One hundred percent supply
