When compared to last Thursday`s sale, slaughter steers sold mostly
steady. Demand was good. Slaughter Holsteins steady with moderate demand.
Slaughter heifers steady to 1.00 higher on a very light test. Buyer
activity was good. Slaughter cows mostly 2.00-3.00 higher. Demand was good.
Cattle supplies included 286 slaughter steers; 114 heifers; 778 cows;
65 bulls; and 11 feeder cattle. All prices per cwt.
Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4 1200-1575 lbs 130.00-
133.50. Choice 2-3 1270-1600 lbs 126.00-129.50. Select 1-3 1180-1600
lbs 120.00-125.50.
Slaughter Holsteins: Few High Choice and Prime 3-4 113.00-115.00.
Choice 2-3 1550-1650 lbs 105.50-109.00. Select 1-3 1400-1600 lbs 99.00-

10.00 lower compared to last week on moderate demand. Heifers sold mostly

LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 516 head for this Thursday's
graded sale. One hundred percent supply Holstein calves unless otherwise
noted. All prices per cwt.
Graded Bull Calves: Number 1 94-128 lbs 105.00-110.00. Number 2 88-
128 lbs 96.00-105.00; 80-86 lbs 55.00. Number 3 90-130 lbs 75.00-85.00;
72-88 lbs 30.00-50.00. Utility 60-110 lbs 15.00-30.00.
Holstein Heifer Calves: 85-115 lbs 105.00-135.00. Number 2 80-110
lbs 60.00-95.00. Utility/Non tubing 75-115 lbs 30.00-50.00.
