TIMONIUM, Md. — Kenny Stambaugh of Westminster won the Dean’s Champion Challenge, a competition held during the Maryland State Fair that brings back former dairy breed fitting and showing champions.
That win presented him the opportunity to challenge this year’s breed toppers for the grand champion showman title, which he also captured.
This year’s winners came to the top on the tanbark during the fitting and showing competition that stretched through the afternoon of Sunday, Sept. 2, and gave judges Parker Welch and Jenny Miller some difficulty sorting through.
