HARRISBURG, Pa. — Antique tractor enthusiasts can enter their equipment in the seventh Antique Tractor and Engine Show during the 2013 Pennsylvania Farm Show.
The show will be 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, in the Equine Arena of the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center in Harrisburg.
“This event allows exhibitors to showcase their prized possessions with Farm Show visitors,” said Agriculture Secretary George Greig. “I thank the antique tractor club volunteers who bring tractors and farming methods from an earlier era to life.”
The show is open to any restored antique wheel and crawler tractors built before 1975, original tractors in good condition, restored antique farm trucks and hit-and-miss gas engines.
Space is limited to 100 entries, selected on a first-come, first-served basis. All tractor operators must be at least 16 years old.
Additional events that day include the Children’s Berg pedal go-kart event at 9 a.m., a pedal tractor pull for children 40-90 pounds at 12:30 p.m., and antique tractor pull for stock gas tractors (no diesel) 4-9 p.m.
Registration is required by Wednesday, Jan. 2. Entry and parking is free for all exhibitors. For more information, contact the Antique Tractor Show at 1450 Diamond State Road, Ephrata, PA 17522-9564 or call 717-738- 2573.
