Cattle Feeder’s Day Set for Jan. 28

LANCASTER, Pa. — Penn State Extension has announced that its annual Lancaster Cattle Feeder’s Day will be held 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, at the Lancaster Farm and Home Center, 1383 Arcadia Road, Lancaster.

People do not need to register for the event, and lunch tickets can be purchased at the door for $10.

Presenters will include H. Louis Moore, a retired Penn State Extension ag economist; Dave Wolfgang, Penn State Extension veterinarian; Mike Gahagan, who works in cattle procurement for JBS USA; Bridget Bingham, executive director of the Pennsylvania Beef Council; Ann Nogan, executive vice president of the Pennsylvania Center for Beef Excellence; and Joe Stratton of Wynorr Farms, Glen Mills, Pa.
