Donations for Sandy Victims to be Trucked to NJ

Kline’s Services of Lancaster and York counties, Pa., is working with the Franklin Township, N.J., Volunteer Fire Department to collect supplies for the people affected by Hurricane Sandy.

The firm will be collecting donated items at its offices at 5 Holland St., Salunga; 3401 Concord Road, York; and 205 Greenfield Road, Lancaster to fill one or more of its box trucks to deliver to the New Jersey fire company, where it can be distributed to those in need along the coastal regions of New Jersey and New York.

Items needed include winter coats, blankets, paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, new underwear, winter socks, hats and gloves, baby supplies. amd toiletries. Monetary contributions will also be accepted.

Kline’s will accept donations 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m.-noon Saturday through Nov. 30. Boxes for the donated items will be at the rear of its offices.
