UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — High school seniors are invited to attend a Prospective Student Open House at Penn State’s Department of Animal Science on Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 24-25, at the University Park campus.
The event is open to any high school senior considering enrolling at Penn State with the animal sciences major.
Prospective students will be welcomed with a pizza party at the Snider Ag Arena on Wednesday evening, where they will meet the undergraduates who will be hosting them.
Prospective students will stay overnight in on-campus housing. There is no cost and all meals will be provided.
Thursday’s activities include attending a class, touring the campus and department farms, and learning about the range of courses offered in the animal sciences major.
Registration is required by Oct. 17 to allow for assignment with student hosts. A form is available at: http://animalscience.psu.edu/events/prospective-student-open-house.
