Penn State Extension in Carbon and Monroe counties will offer a pesticide update meeting 6:30-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, at the Polk Township Fire Hall on Route 209 in Kresgeville.
Those attending will be eligible for two core points and two category specific points, awarded by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture toward recertification of their pesticide applicator license.
Penn State educators will be covering topics related to mixing small amounts of pesticides, pest control, tomato and pumpkin disease strategies, and insect review of 2012.
