Talk to Focus on Issues Facing Bats

The Heidelburg Township Environmental Advisory Council will present a program on bats at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Heidelberg Township Building, 6272 Route 309, New Tripoli, Pa.

Sandra Yerger, from the Bucks County Heritage Conservancy, will talk about the various species of local bats, the ecological role they play in pollination, seed dispersal and insect-control, and the current environmental issues facing them.
