Webinar to Look at Shale Gas Pipelines

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Natural gas pipeline projects and trends, as well as recent and pending legislation affecting pipelines, will be the subject of an Internet-based seminar presented by Penn State Extension.

Offered 1-2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, “Pennsylvania Natural Gas Pipeline Roundup” will feature Extension educator Dave Messersmith, an expert on gas pipeline development and midstream infrastructure, who has spoken on the subject nationally and internationally.

This webinar is one of a series of hourlong sessions presented by Penn State Extension’s Marcellus Education Team at 1 p.m. on Thursdays. Future topics will include:

Nov. 21 — Bradford County Community Planning: Resources for the Community.

Dec 19: — Drilling and Pipeline Cuttings Reclamation.
