MIDDLEBURG, Pa. — The Snyder County Conservation District will hold a winter farmers meeting 9 a.m.-3:15 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 3939 Park Road near Selinsgrove.
Topics will include the current status of agricultural and environmental issues, agricultural estate planning, pesticide handling safety, integrated pest management, herbicide resistant weed control, maximizing pastures and managing animal concentrated areas, maximizing crop nitrogen sources and stabilizers, and USDA program updates.
Pesticide and nutrient management credits will be available from the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.
