NEW YORK (AP) — Cotton futures No. 2 closed $4.25 to $9.60 a bale higher Tuesday.

The average price for strict low middling 1 & 1-16 inch spot cotton declined 194 points to 79.01 cents per pound Tuesday for the seven markets, according to the Market News Branch, Memphis USDA.
