NEW YORK (AP) — Cotton futures No. 2 closed 60 cents to $2.65 a bale lower Wednesday.

The average price for strict low middling 1 & 1-16 inch spot cotton declined 51 cents to 60.63 cents per pound Wednesday for the seven markets, according to the Market News Branch, Memphis USDA.
