SHELL EGGS: Daily Midwest Regional Eggs
Producer prices are steady. Midwest delivered asking prices are steady. The
undertone is firm. Retail demand is light to moderate at best while food
service demand is moderate. Offerings and supplies are light to moderate.
Market activity is slow to moderate. Avian Influenza continues to spread in
Iowa and Minnesota with detection in over one third of Iowa's hen
production. Breaking stock prices are higher. The undertone is higher.
Offerings are light to short of current needs with demand reported as good.
Supplies are light to moderate. Market activity is slow to moderate.
