Corn and soybean futures, livestock prices fall

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures fell or were flat Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery was flat at $6.83 a bushel; September corn fell 9.75 cents to $5.51 a bushel; September oats were flat at $3.5625 a bushel; while August soybeans fell 21 cents to $14.51 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle fell 0.22 cent to $1.2170 a pound; August feeder cattle fell 0.12 cent to $1.50 a pound; August lean hogs fell 0.57 cent to 94.7 cents a pound.
