Grain futures fall, beef prices rise

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures fell Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery fell 19.25 cents to $7.7450 a bushel; March corn fell 11 cents to $6.9325 a bushel; March oats fell 5 cents to $3.60 a bushel; while January soybeans fell 15.25 cents to $14.2450 a bushel.

Beef futures rose, while pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle rose 0.55 cent to $1.3377 a pound; January feeder cattle rose 0.57 cent to $1.5207 a pound; February lean hogs slipped 0.10 cent to 87.45 cents a pound.
