Grain futures mixed, livestock prices rise

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures were mixed Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery fell 11.5 cents to $6.695 a bushel; September corn fell 9.25 cents to $5.3625 a bushel; September oats rose 1 cent to $3.5325 a bushel; while August soybeans rose 24.75 cents to $14.5375 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle rose 0.60 cent to $1.2245 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 2.53 cents to $1.5265 a pound; August lean hogs rose 0.65 cent to $95.55 cents a pound.
