Grain higher, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Mar delivery advanced 14.75 cents to $5.2575 a bushel; Mar corn was up 1.75 cents to 3.8525 a bushel; Mar oats rose 6.75 cents to $2.8775 a bushel; while Mar soybeans gained 9.25 cents to $9.8125 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Apr live cattle was off a .63 cent to $1.4802 a pound; Mar feeder cattle fell 1.07 cents to $1.9565 a pound; while Apr lean hogs were 1.85 cents lower at $.6627 a pound.
