Grain higher, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was up 2.25 cents to $5.1550 a bushel; December corn rose 4.25 cents to 3.9350 a bushel; December oats were 3.75 cents higher at 2.16 a bushel; while November soybeans advanced 10 cents to $8.8425 a bushel.

Beef and pork rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. December live cattle was off 1.15 cents to $1.3022 a pound; November feeder cattle lost 1 cent to $1.7352 a pound; while December lean hogs fell .65 cent to $.6472 a pound.
