Grain higher, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher higher Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery gained 3.5 cents to $4.9475 a bushel; December corn was up 4 cents to 3.8075 a bushel; December oats rose 3 cents to 2.2775 a bushel; while November soybeans gained 9.25 cents to $9.0525 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. December live cattle was .02 cent lower to $1.4315 a pound; November feeder cattle fell 1.03 cents to $1.9142 a pound; while December lean hogs declined .83 cent to $.6702 a pound.
