Grain higher, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery was up 7.50 cents to $4.90 a bushel; May corn rose 2.75 cents to 3.8875 a bushel; May oats were 3.25 cents higher at $2.8625 a bushel; while May soybeans gained 8.25 cents to $9.9325 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle was off .65 cent to $1.5400 a pound; May feeder cattle fell .38 cent to $2.0707 a pound; while April lean hogs were .05 cent lower at $.6607 a pound.
