Grain lower, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery was 13.5 cents lower at $5.4775 a bushel; December corn was 9.25 cents lower at $4.3175 a bushel; December oats were 4 cents lower at $2.6450 bushel; while November soybeans was 6.5 cents lower at 10.0450 cents a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle was .80 cent lower at $1.4862 a pound; August feeder cattle was .225 cents lower at $2.1425 a pound; October lean hogs fell .82 cent to $.6370 a pound.
