ISSAQUAH, Wash. (AP) — Thousands of Chinook salmon have returned to the salmon hatchery in Issaquah in time for this weekend's Salmon Days.
Visitors can see the fish in Issaquah Creek, a holding pool and fish windows at the hatchery.
The Seattle Times reports (http://is.gd/WSUB30) about 2 percent of the fish released as smolts by the hatchery return after 3-to-5 years in the Bering Sea.
