Master gardener classes offered in St. Bernard

CHALMETTE, La. (AP) — St. Bernard Parish residents can learn about gardening and horticulture through Louisiana Master Gardener classes offered in June by the LSU AgCenter's Cooperative Extension Service.

Nola.comThe Times-Picayune reports ( ) the classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon. Classes begin June 3 and end June 28 and will be held at the Arc Community Center, 3700 Jean Lafitte Parkway in Chalmette.

Cost to attend is $150.
