SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — A monorail train at the California State Fair has lost power, temporarily stranding about 20 passengers.

The train travels about 25 feet above the fairgrounds at Sacramento's Cal Expo.

The monorail stopped before 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Sacramento firefighters brought water to the passengers and used a lift to lower them back to the ground.

Assistant Fire Chief Niko King says no one was injured.

There was no immediate prediction on how quickly the ride might be running again.

The California State Fair runs through July 28.

Is the EPA being unrealistic in its timeline to reduce farm runoff into the Chesapeake Bay?
