FORT THOMPSON, S.D. (AP) — The Crow Creek Sioux Tribe has signed an agreement with the U.S. Department of Agriculture to streamline the process of homeownership on the Crow Creek Indian Reservation.

Under the agreement, tribal members can work through the Crow Creek Housing Authority and GROW South Dakota to determine whether they are eligible for homeownership under a USDA Rural Development loan program.

Crow Creek Housing Authority acting director Ronnette Kirkie-Walton says the partnership furthers the housing authority's mission to increase housing services for low- and middle-income families.
