Lebanon’s Royell Is the New Dairy Royal

LEBANON, Pa. — Forty years of dairy princesses were celebrated at this year’s Lebanon County, Pa., dairy princess pageant, May 19, at Mt. Zion Church of the Brethren, and culminated in the coronation of the new 2012-2013 dairy princess, Royell Bashore. Royell is the 19-year-old daughter of Robert and Sherry Bashore, of Annville, Pa. She is a 2011 graduate of Northern Lebanon High School and works on her family farm, Plenty-Good Dairy, and at Dream-On Holsteins.

The new dairy maid in Lebanon County is Brianna Balmer. Brianna is the 14-year-old daughter of Dale and Bonnie Balmer, of Lebanon, Pa. She is in 10th grade at Cedar Crest High School.

The dairy misses are Millena and Ravyn Bashore, sisters to Royell. Millena is in seventh grade at Northern Lebanon Middle School. Ravyn is in fourth grade at East Hanover Elementary School.

The court’s new li’l dairy miss is 8-year-old Olivia Stoffel. Her parents are Logan and Tonya Stoffel, Annville, Pa. She is in third grade at Pennsylvania cyber charter school.
