HARRISBURG, Pa. — A Chester White Gilt and a Spotted Swine Boar were chosen as supreme champions last week out of 241 animals during the open breeding swine show at the Keystone International Livestock Exposition in Harrisburg.

Ken Wetzel and family of Rossiter, Pa., exhibited the supreme champion gilt, the grand champion Chester White Gilt.

Jennifer Schwab of North Java, N.Y., exhibited the supreme champion boar, the grand champion Spot boar.

After making his tough decisions for supreme champion gilt and boar, swine judge Brice Conover of Baxter, Iowa, said, “I made my decision for supreme champion gilt and boar by selecting a gilt and boar that was muscular, structurally sound, balanced and productive in their looks.”

Supreme champion winners received a $250 check from EMM Sales and Service Inc.
