NEW YORK (AP) — Cotton futures No. 2 closed $2.10 a bale higher to $4.00 lower Wednesday.

The average price for strict low middling 1 & 1-16 inch spot cotton declined 25 points to 82.49 cents per pound Wednesday for the seven markets, according to the Market News Branch, Memphis USDA.
