LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — The economic outlook for farmers will be the topic as agricultural economists lead a discussion at this year's Kentucky Farm Bureau Federation convention in Louisville.
The economists from the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture will discuss developments and opportunities for Kentucky farmers in 2013 as well as wrap up the past year. UK says topics will include economic outlooks on livestock, grain, tobacco, horticulture, and forestry and timber, as well as farm production costs and an overview of the state and national farm economy.
The event is at 10 a.m. EST Thursday in the Carroll/Ford Room of the Galt House downtown.
The Kentucky Farm Bureau Federation's 93rd annual meeting continues through Saturday.
