Grain futures fall while beef gains, pork drops

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain prices dropped Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery fell 0.5 cent to $7.68 a bushel; March corn fell 3.75 cents to $7.205 a bushel; March oats were flat at $3.61 a bushel; while March soybeans dipped 0.75 cent to $14.345 a bushel.

Beef futures rose while pork dropped on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle rose 0.8 cent to $1.3115 a pound; March feeder cattle rose 0.75 cent to $1.487 a pound; April lean hogs dropped 0.72 cent to 88.95 cents a pound.
