Grain futures mixed, pork prices lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures were mixed Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery rose 9.75 cents to 6.6125 a bushel; December corn was 6.25 cents lower at $4.8125 a bushel; December oats rose 2.25 cents to $3.29501/8 a bushel; while November soybeans were 14.5 cents lower at 12.0550 a bushel.

Beef prices were mixed, while pork prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle was 1.725 cents lower at $1.2425 a pound; August feeder cattle rose .275 cent to 1.5355 a pound; October lean hogs were lower .35 cent to $0.8415 a pound.
