When compared to last Thursday`s sale, slaughter steers sold steady to
2.00 higher on good demand. Slaughter heifers sold 1.00-3.00 higher on a
very light test. Holsteins sold steady to 1.00 lower. Buyer activity was
good for Thursday`s sale. Slaughter cows sold 1.00-2.00 lower with
moderate demand. Cattle supplies included 217 slaughter steers; 38 heifers;
248 cows; 44 bulls; and 9 feeder cattle. All prices per cwt.

Choice 2-3 1175-1600 lbs 117.00-122.50. Select 1-3 1075-1470 lbs 110.00-
116.00.

Return to Farm Holstein Calves: When compared to last week`s sale,
Holstein bull calves sold mostly 5.00-15.00 lower on moderate demand.
Heifers sold 5.00-10.00 higher compared to a light test last week.
Demand was good. Ag Market News LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded
476 head for this Thursday's graded sale. One hundred percent supply
Holstein calves unless otherwise noted. All prices per cwt.
