When compared to last Thursday`s sale, slaughter steers sold mostly
steady to 1.00 higher. Demand was good. Slaughter Holsteins firm on a
very light test with moderate demand. Slaughter heifers firm on a very
light test. Slaughter cows mostly 1.00-2.00 higher. Demand was good.
Cattle supplies included 324 slaughter steers; 80 heifers; 451 cows;
31 bulls; and 12 feeder cattle. All prices per cwt.
Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4 1250-1650 lbs 130.00-
134.00. Choice 2-3 1270-1600 lbs 125.50-129.75. Select 1-3 1250-1650
lbs 117.00-125.25.
Slaughter Holsteins: Choice 2-3 1550-1650 lbs 107.00-110.50. Select
1-3 1400-1600 lbs 100.00-106.00.
Slaughter Heifers: Choice 2-3 1300-1400 lbs 121.00-124.50. Select
1-3 1100-1350 lbs 115.00-119.50.

to 10.00 lower compared to last week on good demand. Heifers sold mostly

LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 460 head for this Thursday's
graded sale. One hundred percent supply Holstein calves unless otherwise

149.00. Number 2 94-128 lbs 126.00-131.00; 80-92 lbs 137.00-147.00.
