Ewe Gives Birth to Quadruplet Lambs
A ewe at a farmette in Narvon, Lancaster County, Pa., gave birth to quadruplets in mid-January.
Quads are thought to happen in only about 1 in 400 births. The ewe, according to the farmer, had previously given birth to twins and triplets.
The lambs, each with a different colored coat, are healthy and active with their mom, out of the cold and in their barn stall.
The sheep are part of a small flock being raised for market.
