The Sensenig family has run a feed mill in Lancaster County since 1945. The operation moved to its current site — a nearly 150-year old mill in New Holland — in 1985, and is under the direction of Mike Sensenig working with his fourth generation sons, Kyle and Kurt.

Sensenig’s services nearly 500 customers delivering about 1000 tons of feed weekly throughout Southeast Pennsylvania. The company drivers make two or three runs daily in the company’s seven trucks with a variety of feed for dairy cows, cattle, goats, sheep and other animals.

The mill was started by the late Leroy Sensenig who grew up on a small farm near Blue Ball, Pa. After working as a hired hand at local farms, Leroy Sensenig started working at Trupe’s Feed Mill near Terre Hill in 1936. He purchased the Hinkletown Feed Mill in 1945 and renamed it Sensenig’s Feed Mill and brought son Ken into the business.
