The Kempton Fair has been canceled for 2020 because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Normally held in June, the Berks County event is traditionally one of Pennsylvania's earliest fairs of the season. Organizers intend to hold the fair in 2021.

The fair is held on the grounds of the Kempton Community Center, which still intends to hold Summerfest on July 11, the postponed Kempton “Spring” Sale on Aug. 15, the Kempton Power Pulls on Sept. 11, and trunk-or-treat in October.

While the community center are presently closed, the grounds remain open for limited, non-group use.
