- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1-1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1-1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese, divided
- 1 cup crumbled bacon, divided
Mix all ingredients together except 1/2 cup cheese and 1/4 cup bacon. Bake uncovered at 350 F for 1 hour. Drain; sprinkle with remaining bacon and cheese. Bake 3-5 minutes until cheese melts. Let stand 10 minutes.
Hello. This recipe is one we like. I sometimes make it into balls and use whatever cheese I have. My husband, Glenn, and I live on a dairy farm and have a lime and fertilizer business. Our four grown boys help us and there is plenty of work for everyone. One of our boys is married and lives nearby so we get to see our three grandchildren often. I love to babysit. I keep busy doing housework, chores and business office work. Also my hobbies are flowers, scrapbooking and cookies.
