  • 3 pounds ground beef
  • 2 packages taco seasoning
  • 1 (16-ounce) can refried beans
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 1 (10-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • Shredded cheese
  • Flour tortillas (approximately 12 large or 18 medium)


Brown and drain ground beef. Add taco seasoning and water as directed on package. Simmer according to package. Add refried beans.

Mix together sour cream and mushroom soup. Spread this mixture on flour tortillas. Spread meat mixture on top. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top. Roll up tortillas and place in baking pan.

Cover pan with foil and bake at 350 F until hot, 20-30 minutes. Serve with toppings of choice: Lettuce, tomatoes, black olives, onions, shredded cheese, or salad dressings

This recipe is a favorite at our house. This year has been one of change and adjustment for us since we sold our dairy herd the end of 2020. But when God guides it is good and the “new” has now become “normal.” The children love riding with Daddy in his feed truck as he delivers feed for Sporting Valley Feeds. Spring has also brought “tractor time” as we continue to farm the land.
