Juniata County Dairy Promotion held its annual Dairy Promotion Program on Sunday, May 23, at the Walker Grange in Mexico, Pennsylvania.

Although there is no dairy princess this year, a group of eight young people is preparing to promote the dairy industry for the year 2021-2022. These include dairy ambassadors Kera Bentz, Jackson Campbell, Blaine Imes and Paige Troyer. Dairy misses are Julianna Campbell, Caylee Imes, Ella Zimmerman and Natalee Zug.

The program consisted of a farewell speech by dairy ambassador Jordan Taylor, a speech on the various breeds of cows by dairy ambassador Kera Bentz and a skit on dairy trivia by dairy ambassador Paige Troyer. Pennsylvania Dairy Princess Gabrielle Swavely and Pennsylvania Alternate Dairy Princess Kristin Johns were in attendance and spoke to the Juniata County dairy promotion court members.

Jennifer Mahoney was presented tokens of appreciation for her past six years of being the booking chairman for dairy promotion events. To book events this year, contact Trudy Wagner at 717-436-8184 or 717-363-3968 or jimandtrudywagner@yahoo.com.
