Partners in marriage and farming, Greg Swartz and Tannis Kowalchuk were recently honored as Farmers of the Year by Northeast Organic Farming Association New York, or NOFA-NY.

USDA’s National Organic Program will expand the types of businesses, such as brokers and traders, that must have organic certification, and will require special certificates for all organic imports.
