- 1 tube biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
- Vegetable oil
- 2 cups confectioners’ sugar
- 1 teaspoon maple extract
- 2-3 tablespoons milk
- 4 bacon strips, chopped
Using a small round cookie cutter, cut the centers of the biscuits out.
Add about 1-1/2 inches of vegetable oil in a skillet and heat to 375 F.
Carefully add the donuts (and donut holes) to the oil, frying until golden brown on both sides. This will take about 2-4 minutes on the first side and 2 minutes on the second side. Remove the donuts and place onto a plate with a paper towel to soak up the excess oil.
In a small mixing bowl, combine the confectioners’ sugar, maple extract and milk.
Dip the donuts into the frosting one at a time and sprinkle with bacon pieces.
