Compared to last week, Holstein cows sold steady to 100.00 lower. Demand light. Buyer attendance light due to winter storm in the area. Holstein bulls not tested last week so no comparison. Bred Holstein heifers sold mostly steady on a very light test. Open Holstein heifers sold mostly steady to weak on a very light test. Wednesday's supply included 65 fresh milking cows, 5 springing cows, 21 bred cows, 40 springing heifers, 22 bred heifers, 39 open heifers, and 8 bulls. One hundred percent of reported supply Holsteins unless otherwise noted. All sales sold on a per head basis.

FRESH COWS: Approved: 750.00-1300.00; Medium: 425.00-750.00; Common: 325.00-375.00.

SHORT BRED COWS: (1-3 months): Approved: 500.00-875.00 Few; Medium: 400.00-525.00 Few.

CULL COWS: 250.00-1100.00.

SPRINGING HEIFERS: (7-9 months): Supreme: 1100.00-1150.00 Few; Approved: 725.00-1100.00, Jersey/Crossbred 775.00-850.00 Few; Medium: 500.00-700.00.

BRED HEIFERS: (4-6 months): Approved: 550.00-750.00 Few.

SHORT BRED HEIFERS: (1-3 months): Supreme: 1100.00 Individual; Approved: 700.00-725.00 Few; Medium: 625.00-675.00 Few.
